HPE Helion Stackato Documentation¶

HPE Helion Stackato is a polyglot Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS). You can use Helion Stackato to easily deploy applications written in a wide range of languages and web frameworks, using a variety of data services by pushing your source code to the system.

Helion Stackato handles the automatic configuration of the language runtime, web server, application dependencies, databases, and other services. You can run Helion Stackato in your own data center using the hypervisor of your choice, or on your favorite cloud hosting provider to provide a private or public PaaS.

This documentation suite has been written to assist two different audiences with some overlapping responsibilities:

• Helion Stackato Admins: System operators in charge of setting up, configuring, and maintaining the PaaS
• Helion Stackato Users: Developers and other end users who will be using a PaaS set up and maintained by others
